From the very beginning of his career, Meir Haltovsky set himself apart. Meir spent 4 years in the most elite photography school in Israel and finished top in his class. Within 2 months of going independent, Meir was the #1 requested professional in his field.
Meir’s career includes international journalism, special occasion photography, portraiture, and still life. He creates pictures, photo-journals, movies, commercials, and documentaries.
As a journalist, Meir has received many accolades for his important work. He has travelled and photographed worldwide. Germany, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, the United States, Italy, Estonia, Belarus, Holland, the United Kingdom, and France have been among his many stops. In fact, Meir was the first Jewish photographer to be granted permission to photograph in Iraq.
With over ten years of international experience, Meir’s photos have appeared in a multitude of newspapers and magazines around the globe. These include the Hamodia, Mishpacha, Yediot Achronot, Maariv, The Jewish Press among others. Meir was chosen from photographers worldwide to capture images of all sacred Jewish places in Israel and Europe.
Meir especially loves to document and preserve joyous occasions. He enjoys doing weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, and religious ceremonies. Meir has photographed these intimate occasions globally for aristocracy, Rabbinical dynasties, celebrities and politicians alike.
